I did some work on openrc in the past, but that was restricted to fixing
tests and build failures, I don't know anything about openrc scripts in
particular -- I never used anything beyond standard sysv init scripts.
I'm one of co-maintainers for sysvinit, though.

If just a warm body wearing the Debian hat is ok, I can help. I can also do
batch testing on a large set of packages (did the daemon start? Stop?
Restarted? In lxc? In a full VM?) and so on -- but I lack domain-specific
knowledge.
Ie, if you need a mentor who's a master of openrc, I'm not one; if you want
just anyone, that's ok.
