Dear All,

as promised, I gave another go at a fresh repo tu bump sysvinit to
2.91. For the moment you find the repo at:

  https://salsa.debian.org/KatolaZ-guest/sysvinit-new.git

I used the workflow described at:

  https://honk.sigxcpu.org/projects/git-buildpackage/manual-html/index.html

These are the steps I followed:

- imported the current unstable package (2.88dsf-59.11):

  $ gbp import-dsc ../sysvinit_2.88dsf-59.11.dsc

- imported the new upstream release:

  $ gbp import-orig http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/sysvinit/sysvinit-2.91.tar.xz

- refreshed the patches using dquilt

  - only:

      11_run_nologin.patch
      40_multiarch_libcrypt.patch

    are still needed. The rest has been incorporated upstream

- created a new log entry for 2.91-1 and built it with:

  $ gbp buildpackage --git-pbuilder --git-dist=sid --git-arch=amd64 --git-ignore-branch

The package builds cleanly and works fine on both Debian/sid
sans-systemd and Devuan/ceres.

Comments are welcome. If we are happy with this version, I will merge
it into the Debian/sysvinit repo (getting rid of the previous work of
mine), and we could risk a build for Debian/experimental.

I noticed that Dmitry has built a new 2.88dsf-60 for experimental,
mainly to fix some lintian warnings I guess. Will liaise with him to
incoroporate the relevant changes.

HND
