Catching up

Hi everyone. Sorry I didn't respond to a couple of recent messages. Just
found out that my subscription to the mailing list had bounced back
rejected, so I'm going through the archives getting caught up. And I
re-subscribed so I should be able to reply more reliably from now on.

Benda Xu - Thank you for the encouragement and offer to help. I would
prefer not to close the Debian bugs directly myself until someone
involved (the reporter or current sysvinit maintainer) signs off on the
issue being resolved. I don't want to step on any toes in the Debian
community. If you look over the reports and my comments and feel a bug
can be closed, then please do. I appreciate the help.

KatolaZ - Thanks for working to get a new version of sysvinit packages
for Debian. Please let me know if I can assist with that. Right now it
looks like the next version (2.92) will be released in early 2019 and it
will probably be entirely fixes and patches to close Debian bugs.

Ideally, I'd like to get 2.91 into Debian Unstable so people can test it
and let me know if anything else needs to be fixed prior to 2.92.

Cheers,
Jesse
