The objective of the ukIDcards list is to provide a forum for discussion among those who are opposed to compulsory ID cards in the United Kingdom. The list is open to all but those who join are expected to respect the purpose for which the list has been established.

Using ukIDcards
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ukIDcards@chiark.greenend.org.uk.

You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to ukIDcards

Subscribe to ukIDcards by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the members list is available only to the list administrator.

    You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.

The subscribers list is entirely private and is not publicly available. However, please note that all messages posted to the list are widely distributed and are also archived for anyone to browse.

To change your subscription (set options like digest and delivery modes, get a reminder of your password, or unsubscribe from ukIDcards), enter your subscription email address:
