For what it's worth : (taken from the Acorn RiscPC Welcome Guide) Pin Signal 1 XREF 2 SW 1 3 SW 2 4 0v return 5 XDIR 6 5v supply 7 YREF 8 SW 3 9 YDIR Pin numbers (looking from the back of the computer): /----------\ 9 | . . . | 7 6 | . . . . | 3 \ . . / ---------- 2 1 I don't know how far you'd get with making a mouse from that information. At a guess, I can say that: SW 1-3 Connect to 5v through a switch (mouse buttons). XDIR/YDIR +5v for up/left, 0v for down/right. XREF/YREF Pulsed +5v from pulse encoder. No responsibility taken for blown mouse fuses etc! -- R ### Michael Curtis RISC OS fanatic I # # Electronics enthusiast S # # C # # Software and Acorn Users Waikato : O ######## http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~jamjars/ S # Whoever heard of a colour-blind electrician?
