ARCHIMEDES ADFS DISC ERRORS

FLOPPY

&08 CRC error in data
&10 sector not found
&18 CRC error in sector header


HARD DISC

&06 unit selected signal has not been returned by drive
&07 write fault signal from drive
&08 drive not ready
&09 Seek did not complete before timeout
&10 data error has been detected by ECC (error correction code)
&11 CRC error in data area
&12 ECC corrected an error (would this be trapped by ADFS?)
&13 Fatal ECC error in data area
&16 sector ID has not been found
&17 an ID area that begins with an improper address mark has been detected
&18 the address mark in DATA area has not been detected
&19 Drive write protected
