CurrentCost monitoring for RRDtool

Posted on Wed, Aug 18, 2010 in software with tags data.

Scripts to read data from a CurrentCost CC128 electricity consumption monitor and drop it into an RRDtool database.

They are based on Paul Mutton’s CurrentCost serial port script. My version adds:

  • minicom-compatible serial port locking
  • autodetection in case of multiple ttyUSB devices
