Dear Author,
Firstly, thank you for writing for me! I am looking forward to reading your story, and I hope you have fun writing it! This is my AO3 account.
Here are a few more thoughts about the things I've requested; they're to give you some ideas, not to be prescriptive! I most want to read a story you want to tell, however you want to tell it. I am happy to receive poetry, dark fic, unconventional literary forms, porn, ...
If you want to write a cross-over, that's cool - any of the fandom's I've written in or received gifts in are great, and I also like Dr Who, Buffy, and B5.
For avoidance of doubt, I am more than happy to receive treats :-)
"The category is: Live! Werk! Pose!" I love the range of this show, with very deep lows and very soaring highs, some very heavy topics and also comedy and the sheer joy of the Balls. Plus a great soundtrack and a serious of brilliant costumes. Sometimes the plot stringing the set-pieces together feels a little thin, but somehow I still wanted one more episode.
Pray Tell is perhaps the character that most encapsulates the show for me - loving and a community leader but deeply flawed, larger than life and smoking hot. I'd love a story from his point of view - maybe what it's like to MC a ball? I'd prefer not to just focus on the depths of his alcohol dependency, but if that's the story you need to tell, then go for it.
Wikipedia tells me that How The West Was Won is widely considered one of Hollywood's greatest epics. In any case, when I first watched it, I noted that "clearly it at least needs fix-its where Lilith settles down with Agatha rather than going off with unsuitable men, and where Zeb takes up the offer to stay in Jethro's cabin."
If you were to tell me either (or both!) of these stories, that would be lovely :-) Or another story involving some of these characters.
I really enjoyed both books in this series - for their interesting & feminist take on the varieties of fairy tales, and how many characters end up rather trapped in them; and for Zinnia's narrative voice.
I'd be particularly happy to see Zinnia finding their way into another different fairy tale multiverse and mixing it up a bit.
Ambergris is a fascinating city, and there are so many stories that are alluded to and never told, particularly during the festival of the Freshwater Squid. Give me a weird tale!
This is such a cute comic, with adorable cows in space! I'd love to read a story about their adventures together in space - what do they see and do together? What is space cow's back story? Maybe they're the cow equivalent of a Time Lord...
