West Kirby station lies at the end of the Wirral line and is a good place to start a day's exploring, or to end it with chips by the sea. The station front:
On the west side of the station building a canopy covers the entrance to the shops using the station building:

While I was taking photos of the concourse a gentleman asked me what I was doing and I explained that I was photographing the lovely station. He told me that there were plans afoot to demolish it all in favour of a more modern retail space! I hope these plans don't come to fruition. It's not as if the concourse is a retail desert.
