One stop down the line from one of the oldest station sites on Merseyrail, Broad Green Wavertree Technology Park is a new station, built in 2000. We visited in the pouring rain, and it was a bit of a struggle to keep the camera dry! The best view of the station is from the road which crosses the line to the east of the station. Looking here west at the station building which sits on the footbridge crossing the line:
