Gathurst station was a brief stop for us in the afternoon sunshine. It's unstaffed and its facilities are a bit run down with the old station building now doing service as a pub. The approach to the station building from the car park:

Emerging through a gate on to platform 1 we look at the rear of the station building with only the railway signs to indicate it's still a station:
