Bedford St Johns is a small station a short walk away from the main Bedford station, and is on the branch line to Bletchley. Access to the platform is down some steps from the road bridge that spans the railway:
The information boards at the station, and a "squawk box" information point like those seen at unstaffed stations in Cornwall. Unlike the Wessex Trains information points there, though, which provided details of the next train, this one just refers you to the posters:
