Ashwell and Morden was the start of a New Year bank holiday expedition, with a short cycle ride and then one of the Ramblers' Association's mystery walks. The station building from the rear:
The entrance to the platform is to the right of the station buildings:
The railway is at a different level from the road outside, and there is a short flight of steps leading up from platform level:

The platform has evidently changed level in the past, as there are steps leading down to a lover level where once were doorways into the station building:
