Kirkstall Forge was opened back in 2015 alongside Apperley Bridge, but so far the only thing there besides the station is an office block. Unsurprisingly, most trains whizz straight through, but perhaps things will change when there's more than just the one office block claiming to be "the best connected in Leeds"... It's an open-plan station, with the platform giving directly onto the road. These pre-rusted bollards run along the boundary of platform 1:

Another feature that distinguishes the platform from the rest of the site is the mosaic red paving:

Just at the western end of platform 1 there is a small grassed area with a couple of picnic tables:
