We arrived at Haydon Bridge with only ten minutes before our next train so we hotfooted it over to the other side of the level crossing to make sure we weren't caught out on the wrong side. In passing I noted the ramped entrance to platform 1:

And the steps up to platform 1 from Station Road:

Both lead on to platform 1, seen here from platform 2 opposite:
