Because I did two posts in a row, and no one seemed to be interested any more. I have more in mind, but thought I'd let it die quietly. ----------
Mary Lou couldn't move, and the wolf went harmlessly over her shoulder
- as if he was playing a cruel game with his food. To Angel, it looked
like a cat with a mouse, to Pippa, it looked like a barbarous
perversion of what it meant to be in the dog family, and all that they
stood for. Remus bounded round, half-snarling, then
barking playfully, as if he didn't know what to do, or where to be.
Harry walked out of the wood, and drew his wand.
"Expecto Patronum!" The Silver Stag erupted from the wand, far more
solid than anything that they had ever seen. It caught sight of the
Wolf, and they began to play, which allowed Angel to kick mary lou
until her reflexes kicked in, and she moved herself.
