+The door of the lab originally led into a corridor linking the return wings of the north block; an arch has been constructed eight feet along that corridor, allowing the section close to the lab to be turned into a striking entrance to it (Grand Entrance). Owls have been painted on the arch, and the walls beyond are white with feather designs. A replica of the Athena Parthenos stands by the door to the lab proper.
