63 check. <filename>systemd-fsck-root.service</filename> is
64 responsible for file system checks on the root
65 file system. The root file system check is performed
66 before the other file systems. Either service is enabled
67 at boot if passno in <filename>/etc/fstab</filename> for
68 the file system is set to a value greater than zero.</para>

71 forward file system checking progress to the
72 console. If a file system check fails, emergency mode
73 is activated, by isolating to
