Easy rice
This is easy, me-proof rice. You will need:
- 3oz. basmati per portion (must be basmati - apparently nothing else works)
- 6 fl.oz. water per portion
Method
- Boil water in kettle
- Put water and rice into pan.
- Return to boil, stir, turn stove down to its lowest setting, cover.
- Wait 12 minutes.
- Turn off stove; remove pan from heat.
- Wait another 12 minutes or so; you can leave it a few minutes longer, or take it out a little sooner, if you need to.
- Stir well and serve.
