Method

  1. Cut up the onion coarsely
  2. Dice or slice the root veg as desired
  3. Flour the meat (roll in flour, or shake in plastic bag)
  4. Brown the meat in a frying pan
  5. Make up stock
  6. Transfer meat to casserole dish; add veg, herbs, beer/wine, stock to cover.
  7. Cook for 2-3h at GM5/190C.
  8. Serve with starch of choice
