Miscellaneous Stuff...

This directory contains miscellaneous hacks and other things which I don't feel deserve a subdirectory of their own, but which would otherwise clutter up the root directory. Current occupants of misc are:

• details about the Facit 4070 paper tape punch used for punching CUCPS membership cards...
• my notes on configuring offline reading of news using Debian Linux, INN and newsx.
• my getaddr script, which automates adding entries to your MH aliases file.
• information about the Makefile I use to keep these webpages on chiark in sync with my local copies.
• trn emulation for slrn. Still rather alpha.
• history-trail for slrn.
• trn-like wumpus display for slrn. Still very alpha.
• some stuff relating to the innards of the cgsix and the Forth driver in its ROM.
• compwarnings.patch.txt and emptynotes.patch.txt are patches for a Zaurus todolist application called iqnotes.
• some random silly sig I came up with at some point.
• a patch to binutils and the notes accompanying it. Essentially it adds support for TI ARM COFF files (which are slightly nonstandard). These are the files used by TI's toolchain for the Innovator platform (including the Code Composer debugger).
• a patch to GNU superopt so it compiles with newer gcc (which doesn't allow multiline strings in asm(); errors are of the form longlong.h:102:12: missing terminating " character)
