polenth: MIPS RC3x30

polenth is a MIPS RC3x30 server box. I haven't actually tried this yet since (a) I haven't yet got any 30pin parity SIMMs to put in it and (b) I need to put heatsinks back on the CPU and FPU, from which they seem to have been removed...

This system has a SCSI hard drive in it and AUI ethernet, and should talk to a serial terminal.

On the bright side, I do have the technical reference manual (which also covers the workstation version, the MIPS Magnum 3000). This actually has useful information such as the I/O device mappings and control register bit meanings, so it should be possible to get the mips/linux port working on it at some point.
