orlith is a NeXTstation color workstation with a 17 inch colour monitor. It's 'black' hardware, a pizza-box style case, and it's got a 68030 CPU. It runs the NeXTstep OS, partly because that's the only thing which can drive the dumb laser printer which is attached to it.
orlith provides printing services to the dragon cluster and also audio, since it has a speaker/microphone box. [The nice thing about NeXTstep is that you can ignore the GUI and treat it as a standard BSD box for the purposes of networking and printing...]
