Loch Eil Outward Bound is a relatively new station, opened in the 1980s to serve the Outward Bound centre nearby. Adventurous souls can often be seen splashing around in canoes on the loch side of the railway line.
The station is approached via a gravel path, which is less than ideal for cyclists:
