Hathersage is on the Hope Valley Line in the Peak District. It has two platforms linked by a subway and provides a service to the village of the same name and of course walkers. The entrance to the station is from Heather Lane, just to the north of the railway line. A ramp leads up to platform 2, while a subway leads under the tracks to reach platform 1:
