After the closure of the line to Swanage, the Swanage Railway rebuilt the line from the Swanage end, reaching Corfe Castle in 1995.

The station building has been lovingly restored inside and out, with this ticket hall:

The footbridge at Corfe Castle was installed at the station in April 2007, seen here looking south:

As a plaque near the footbridge shows, the bridge originally stood at Merton Park station before that line was converted to become part of Tramlink:
