Causeland is a tiny station and an immensely peaceful place to wait for a train. Birds sing in the woodland, a brook babbles to the side of the railway line, and there's almost nobody else around.

The shelter is basic, but because the information points installed at most stations in the area use the telephone system to provide train times, it does come with a working payphone:
