Wennington is a small country station on the line between Carnforth and Settle, and it was once again gorgeous sunshine when we arrived by bike. It's a small station with two platforms connected by a footbridge, with Old Moor Road crossing the line at the station's west end.

The entrance is to platform 1, which has a small shelter, the rear of which we see here:
