There is one public face of the pick empire - this is login.pick.ucam.org, which currently points to rapun.sel.cam.ac.uk (which is in turn also serving www.pick.ucam.org amongst other things). If you want to get to the Empire House systems (to read mail, amongst other things), then the machine is currently ming.empire.pick.ucam.org (this is a recent change), which is reachable from other VPN points (including rapun, greenend and chiark).
