Some of you will know that I was never much good at writing when at school, so I'm doubly pleased to be doing stuff now.
Anyway, here are some things:
Oneword has a different word every day for you to write on the theme of, for 60 seconds. Try it :)
On the subject of words, this is a site which has a favoured random word of the day. Might be worth a look; I rather like the idea of using their word of the day in that days writing every day for this year's NaNoWriMo challenge... NaNoWriMo National Novel Writing Month - the aim is to write 50000 words in the month of November. I tried last year, but never finished it, partyl due to moving in the middle. I'll try again this year, and you might even get extracts if you're lucky

And, of course, there's the Mono writing
project, but you'll need a mono account and to start writing before you
can see any of that and it seems to have stalled.
