Tailgating by taxi SF07 DFK

This afternoon at about 4:15pm I was riding down Mill Road out of
town.  I was looking for a particular shop so despite the tailwind and
downhill slope I was doing only 15mph or so.

I saw the shop I wanted but I was aware of this taxi behind.  I slowed
down and signalled left (to indicate that I would be stopping) but the
taxi was now too close for me to stop.  I and slowed and stopped more
gradually, overshooting my destination by about 10m.

Obviously the taxi ought to have been far enough behind me that I
could have stopped where and when I wanted to.
