Tailgating by L611 JEG

Here you can see me being tailgated as I approach the Elizabeth Way
roundabout along East Road.

At about 20s in the video the driver is 3m behind me as we travel at
probably 30-35kph (I was concentrating on the van, not my speedo).

At about 23s after I've gestured for him to keep back, to no avail, I
decide I don't want to do the roundabout with this guy on my tail, so
I gradually slow down and stop.  (This requires some care to avoid
being actually rear-ended.)

The driver pulls alongside and I say `you're far far too close to me'
and he says `use the cycle lane'.  As he moves off I have to quickly
pick up my right foot or he might well have driven over it.

Just another case of a cyclist getting aggro due to not using an
unsuitable `facility'.
