21.5.07 Undertaking in bus lane by K326 DRF At about 1600 on Monday of this week I was on my way to the dentists' surgery on Milton Road. Since I wanted to turn right, I took a primary position in the right hand (main traffic) lane, rather than using the bus/bike/taxi lane. The car behind me decided not to wait, and instead used the bus lane to undertake me, saving perhaps as much as 15 seconds but of course committing an offence. Contravention of this particular lane is very widespread - in particular, it is frequently used as parking overflow for the shops. This case was a particularly clear-cut case of driving in the bus lane, which is less usual.
