Shortly after 5pm on the 29th of April I was cycling from the Imperial War Musuem at Duxford to Whittlesford railway station. As I came up the A505 towards the M11 junction, the road was a dual carriageway. Several cars and two or three motorbikes passed me without incident. I looked at my speedo which indicated 25.6kph. About halfway up the slope, one particular car passed me very close by, at speed, with mere inches to spare. I shouted `too close', and was rewarded with a one-finger rude gesture by the passenger. The car drove off up to the junction and appeared to leave on the slip road onto the Northbound M11.
