Work/research interests
I currently work as a lecturer at Oxford Brookes University. For more information about this, and about other recent research activity, please look at my current research page.
Between 1997 and 2001, I was a PhD student in Cambridge University Engineering Department and between 1993 and 1997, I studied there for a Masters of Engineering course. For more information about that, please see my past work page.
You might also (if you are particularly bored and love reading lots of pages of mathematical symbols) wish to read my PhD thesis (PDF format; approx. 8MB). Or you might wish to have a look at my CV.
I no longer have a section on future research. I've discovered it doesn't pay to look too far into the future. After all, three years ago, I'd never have predicted that I'd have just finished writing a paper about the Fibonacci numbers, that I'd have got all excited about number theory, or that I would now be working in an architecture department, having got all excited about e-learning en route!
