There's not much here, yet, mainly because I've not written very much useful software. Possibly because I spend too much time playing some of the games below... I hope more will appear as time progresses.

cxhextris 1.0:

cxhextris (colour X hextris) is an X11 tetris-like game but with six-sided pieces. You can get the source from Happy Penguin, though there are security holes in it so you're probably better off getting the latest patched version from Debian, which already includes the patch below.

scores.diff (fixes a couple of buffer over-runs which mangle the highscore table) [5kb] (included in the Debian cxhextris 1.0-14 package and subsequent versions, though the current stable release is 1.0-13.)

flying 6.20:

Flying is a pool, snooker, carrom and curling simulator for X11. You can get the source from Debian.

snooker.diff (compiles cleanly, makes snooker default to a green table and corrects the initial ball placement, table markings and respotting algorithm. Also, changes the name of the configuration file from presets.txt to .flyingrc. Yes, the only changes made to two of the files are to add spaces to the end of a line in order to stop gcc complaining that a `//' comment ends with a `\' character.) [14kb]
snooker-debian.diff (a version of the above patch which applies cleanly to the Debian flying-6.20-2 source.) [13kb]

Ularn 1.5ish:

Ularn is an early roguelike. My patches have now been incorporated into the main source distribution.

xkobo 1.11:

xkobo is a 2D space shoot-em-up for X11. You can get the source from ftp.x.org, though you'd be better off using a mirror.

autofire.diff (adds autofire for those who don't want to have to hold shift down all the time) [4kb]

xbiff:

xbiff.diff (adds control of the pitch and duration of the beep when new mail arrives (hacky)) [5kb]

xonix 1.4:

highscore.diff (fixes a bug which occasionally blanked the high-score table, improves the file handling, fixes a typo in the mail sent when a new top score is achieved, makes it explicit that this mail is machine-generated and only sends it if the table was successfully updated) [6kb]
