|Saturday, 5th July||Heron and caterpillar|
There's often a heron in the ponds at the business park I pass through on my way to the supermarket. I guess he must be looking for frogs, since the ponds are small and there surely can't be any fish left in them; on the other hand, I've never seen him actually catch anything. Sometimes, I see him on the roof of one of the office buildings; other times, he's perched on a lamp-post, just like herons don't. The caterpillars are presumably the offspring of the moth that was on my wall a while back.
