One advantage of jet-lag...
I'm at a conference at Dagstuhl in Germany. Last time I was here, we went on an excursion to the preserved steel works at Völklingen; this time, we just went walking in the local woods.
Somehow, it snowed for most of the day but the amount of snow on the ground decreased from not very much to barely any at all. This was taken in the late morning.
