Völklinger Hütte is a former ironworks near Saarbrücken, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unfortunately, the blast furnace area was closed because of ice on the walkways, so we couldn't go up to the viewing platform at the top of one of the furnaces. And the light was poor. The torpedo cars are from the Saarstahl plant nearby, which is still working.
