Angelos looked up from his magazine as someone knocked on the door.
"Food," said Leslie, bringing in a tray.
"Great, I'm starved." His face fell as he realised it was ration bars again. "Can't we get out of here and get some proper food? I don't mind cooking."
"Not yet. I need to have a little chat with you, Angelos."
"Sure, no problem. Hey, have you heard from Cassandra yet?"
"I have. You haven't been entirely honest with us, have you? I want to know what it is you've got of Vega Corporation's and why they're quite so keen to have it back."
"Huh?" Angelos dropped his ration bar.
"And why are Rayearth Group trying to kill you? There's a contract out on you, which you seem to have neglected to mention to me. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't collect on it."
"Look, I'm more use to you alive, right? I have valuable knowledge! That's why they're trying to kill me!"
"I'd bet Cassandra knows everything you do. I could hand you over, get paid, and then get the information out of her anyway."
"She wouldn't help you if you did that."
"She wouldn't know about it. But I can compromise. How about you give me whatever it is that Vega's after in return for not telling Rayearth Group where to find your body?"
"I haven't got anything of Vega's! You have this all wrong!"
"Tax your memory. I'll be back later." Leslie slammed the door and locked it behind her.
