The Jackash font is a Linux console font designed using the "fonter" font editing program. It is loosely based on my own handwriting, but the main purpose in its design was to provide a light yet clear font for console use. Some people find it ugly, but usually agree that it's very readable. I like it a lot, but then I would. To load the font, execute the following command on the Linux console. consolechars -f ./jackash Jackash is distributed under the GNU Public licence version 2, which you should have receieved a copy of with this file. It is dedicated to the memory of Ashley 'Jack' Scarborough (1975-2000). Christi Scarborough christi@chiark.greenend.org.uk http://www.chiark.greeenend.org.uk/~christi/
