*As you arrive at the office, the Seneschal is just leaving. The supervisor calls you all in to the big briefing room, so you know  something is up.*

#### Basic Information ####
* Welcome to Thelbane CSI, run by Shadow. 
* All the books are considered to be loosely canonical.
* Characters are minor members of Chaosian Houses who for one reason or another are part of Thelbane CSI. Perhaps they genuinely want to help keep their home safe; perhaps they were bored and wanted something to do with their time; perhaps someone told them that they were going to do it and like it. 
* Whatever the reason, when things get murky, they work together to find out what’s going on - so please don't build a character who won't work as part of a team.
* Whilst this game is set in the same setting as the series of games that we've been running at AmberCon UK, it's a spin-off rather than a sequel or continuation.
* For the interest of those who have played in them, this game is set before the events of [[The Golden Circle]].

*For attributes, are there just the normal levels of Human, Chaos and Amber, or do you allow intermediate scores*
: I'm happy for characters to have intermediate scores, in both directions.
: That is, you can sell down to Human +n if you want; or buy up to Chaos +n
: But no going below Human!
