+Peter is the son of Eric, a member of the Aegyptus grex of the Schola Pythagoranis. Eric is proud of his martial skills and contemptuous of the lame weakling he sired. Peter has always known this and his father's disappointment, coupled with the inevitable isolation has made him a shy and reclusive person. He was destined to life as a servant in the college although he was trying to become a scribe. When Alexios picked him as his personal lab servant with a good salary in a place where he could avoid all but Alexios himself, he was delighted and is grimly determined to master his job and become completely indispensable to his master. He takes pride in keeping the lab spotless and when not dusting, can be found in his tiny bedroom above the lab with his nose firmly in a book.
