+>>The backs of these heavy leather gauntlets, which reach back over the elbow, are covered with Greek script that which has been carefully illuminated with scenes of forge work in metallic inks that have been embedded into the leather, the red ink of the flames in the illuminations has a shimmering ruby red glitter.

+>>Effect: when the magic of these gauntlets is activated, they become totally immune to heat and flames up to those caused by the handling of molten iron (+15 damage). The hands of someone within the item are also protected since no heat or flame can pass through the gauntlets.

+>>This item looks like a small metal cone which rises into a head and collapsible legs that fold up and over the rest of the item. The head is worked into the head of a dragon and a pattern of inlaid silver around a frieze of Greek and Latin characters that spell out an invocation to Hephaestus, illuminated with scenes of forge work made of inks that seem formed from gold, silver and ruby.

+>>Effect: When this item is placed with its legs to using a fire up to one that does +10 damage (sufficient to melt lead), it collects the heat of the fire and concentrates it within the mouth of the dragon which is a space roughly the size of a human head. There is no flame within this area, simply pure heat which is concentrated into something far hotter than the original (the intensity of the heat is equal to that of the original fire + 5 to a maximum of +15). The inside of the head glows brilliantly red while the item is in use but the outside of the item remains magically cool as the heat is channelled back into the dragon's throat. The fire itself must continue to be stoked while this item is in use but the flames and even the coals are noticeably cooler to the touch than they should be for that intensify of fire (-5 damage to a minimum of +0).
