This lab is dominated by a surprisingly small fireplace in the middle
of the exterior wall.  A fire always burns in the fireplace, even if
it is not fueled and if fuel, of any type, is provided then the
resultant ash contains vis (Magical (Excessive) Heating, Vis Source,
one of the covenants [[Vis Sources]]).  As a result of this the
hypocaust system has been blocked off from under this room.  There is
a large cauldron which has been fitted with wheels to allow it to be
brought closer to and taken further from the fire (Lesser Focus), and the best
quality equipment and tools have been provided (mostly because cheaper equipment
keeps getting burned up) (Superior Equipment, Superiro Tools).  The construction of the inn is notably good.  (Superior Construction)
