> Sir, for some time now, I have been hinting to you of the work I have been undertaking. I have great pleasure in enclosing a copy of the fruits of this labour; my translation of a previously unknown work by Aristotle called Poetics. 

> I have taken the liberty of dedicating this work to you, I trust this pleases you and demonstrates, more than words can, the respect and affection, I hold you in. 

> Further, I have recently learned the spell "Leap of Homecoming" that we discussed some time ago. I would very much enjoy visiting with you occasionally and I wondered if you would be willing to send me an arcane connection to somewhere in Bologna that I might do so.
