   1 Correspondences take two forms; brief correspondance (probably Story
   2 Related) and ongoing correspondance on a particular subject.

   4 Corresponders are assumed to keep a copy of their own letters.

   6 If you are having an ongoing correspondance:

   8 * on a theme that relates to your _research_ or _reading_
   9 * in which you have read all the previous letters
  10 * which you have received a letter in during the current season

  12 then you may take an additional xp in that season.  Only one extra xp
  13 may be taken this way.

  15 If you have an ongoing correspondance:

  17 * which has lasted for two years since you last produced a bound volume
  18 * at least 24 letters have been exchanged in that time

  20 then you can [[group the letters together|WritingBooks]] for
  21 production of a book of correspondance.

  23 In general, since we're at a Mercere House, the mimumum time for a
  24 letter round trip will be one month.

  26 Magi are assumed to have one active correspondance at the start of
  27 play.

  29 If you want you may exchange correspondance with your sodales;
  30 provided all the communication on the topic is in writing.
