From 5aded369782f28255bc6b494ca905d7acaea7a56 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?Zbigniew=20J=C4=99drzejewski-Szmek?= Date: Mon, 7 Jul 2014 18:25:54 -0400 Subject: [PATCH 1/1] man: add a mapping for external manpages It is annoying when we have dead links on fd.o. Add project='man-pages|die-net|archlinux' to -ies. In generated html, add external links to http://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man, http://linux.die.net/man/, https://www.archlinux.org/. By default, pages in sections 2 and 4 go to man7, since Michael Kerrisk is the autorative source on kernel related stuff. The rest of links goes to linux.die.net, because they have the manpages. Except for the pacman stuff, since it seems to be only available from archlinux.org. Poor gummiboot gets no link, because gummitboot(8) ain't to be found on the net. According to common wisdom, that would mean that it does not exist. But I have seen Kay using it, so I know it does, and deserves to be found. Can somebody be nice and put it up somewhere? --- man/binfmt.d.xml | 2 +- man/bootctl.xml | 2 +- man/bootup.xml | 8 ++-- man/coredumpctl.xml | 2 +- man/crypttab.xml | 8 ++-- man/custom-html.xsl | 48 +++++++++++++++++++- man/daemon.xml | 6 +-- man/file-hierarchy.xml | 22 ++++----- man/halt.xml | 2 +- man/journalctl.xml | 4 +- man/kernel-command-line.xml | 12 ++--- man/libsystemd-pkgconfig.xml | 2 +- man/localtime.xml | 6 +-- man/nss-myhostname.xml | 8 ++-- man/pam_systemd.xml | 8 ++-- man/sd-daemon.xml | 6 +-- man/sd-id128.xml | 6 +-- man/sd-journal.xml | 2 +- man/sd-login.xml | 4 +- man/sd_bus_creds_get_pid.xml | 10 ++-- man/sd_bus_creds_new_from_pid.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_error.xml | 12 ++--- man/sd_bus_message_append.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_message_append_array.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_message_append_basic.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_message_append_string_memfd.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_message_append_strv.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_message_get_cookie.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_message_get_monotonic_usec.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_negotiate_fds.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_new.xml | 2 +- man/sd_bus_open_user.xml | 4 +- man/sd_bus_path_encode.xml | 6 +-- man/sd_bus_request_name.xml | 2 +- man/sd_event_add_time.xml | 2 +- man/sd_event_new.xml | 2 +- man/sd_get_seats.xml | 4 +- man/sd_id128_get_machine.xml | 4 +- man/sd_id128_randomize.xml | 2 +- man/sd_id128_to_string.xml | 6 +-- man/sd_journal_add_match.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_get_catalog.xml | 4 +- man/sd_journal_get_cursor.xml | 4 +- man/sd_journal_get_cutoff_realtime_usec.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_get_data.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_get_fd.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_get_realtime_usec.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_get_usage.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_next.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_open.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_print.xml | 18 ++++---- man/sd_journal_query_unique.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_seek_head.xml | 2 +- man/sd_journal_stream_fd.xml | 10 ++-- man/sd_login_monitor_new.xml | 2 +- man/sd_pid_get_session.xml | 10 ++-- man/sd_seat_get_active.xml | 6 +-- man/sd_session_is_active.xml | 20 ++++---- man/sd_uid_get_state.xml | 6 +-- man/shutdown.xml | 2 +- man/systemctl.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-ask-password-console.service.xml | 4 +- man/systemd-ask-password.xml | 6 +-- man/systemd-binfmt.service.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-bootchart.xml | 4 +- man/systemd-cat.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-cgls.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-cgtop.xml | 4 +- man/systemd-getty-generator.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-inhibit.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-journald.service.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-nspawn.xml | 22 ++++----- man/systemd-run.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-system.conf.xml | 8 ++-- man/systemd-timedated.service.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-timesyncd.service.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-tty-ask-password-agent.xml | 8 ++-- man/systemd-update-done.service.xml | 4 +- man/systemd-update-utmp.service.xml | 2 +- man/systemd-user-sessions.service.xml | 2 +- man/systemd.exec.xml | 24 +++++----- man/systemd.journal-fields.xml | 4 +- man/systemd.mount.xml | 4 +- man/systemd.socket.xml | 2 +- man/systemd.special.xml | 2 +- man/systemd.unit.xml | 6 +-- man/systemd.xml | 8 ++-- man/telinit.xml | 2 +- man/timedatectl.xml | 6 +-- 89 files changed, 261 insertions(+), 215 deletions(-) diff --git a/man/binfmt.d.xml b/man/binfmt.d.xml index 6f8668b47..227016616 100644 --- a/man/binfmt.d.xml +++ b/man/binfmt.d.xml @@ -117,7 +117,7 @@ systemd1, systemd-binfmt.service8, systemd-delta1, - wine8 + wine8 diff --git a/man/bootctl.xml b/man/bootctl.xml index 5f198471b..52540221e 100644 --- a/man/bootctl.xml +++ b/man/bootctl.xml @@ -64,7 +64,7 @@ Firmware information is available only on EFI systems. - Currently, only the gummiboot8 boot + Currently, only the gummiboot8 boot manager implements the required boot loader interface to provide complete boot manager information. diff --git a/man/bootup.xml b/man/bootup.xml index 65c2cee70..ac6e9f70f 100644 --- a/man/bootup.xml +++ b/man/bootup.xml @@ -59,7 +59,7 @@ Linux case, this kernel (optionally) extracts and executes an initial RAM disk image (initrd), such as generated by - dracut8, + dracut8, which looks for the root file system (possibly using systemd1 for this).
