  58                 is an early-boot service that applies mount options
  59                 listed in

  62                 file systems. This is required so that the mount
  63                 options of these file systems -- which are pre-mounted
  64                 by the kernel, the initial RAM disk or system manager
  65                 code -- are updated to those listed in
  66                 <filename>/etc/fstab</filename>. This service ignores
  67                 normal file systems and only changes the root file
  68                 system (i.e. <filename>/</filename>) and the virtual
  69                 kernel API file systems such as
  70                 <filename>/proc</filename>, <filename>/sys</filename>
