   1 This is userv, a trust boundary management service for Unix.

   3 Using userv, one program can call another without either of them
   4 having to trust the other completely.  This enables applications such
   5 as mail delivery, cron, user-provided CGI scripts and so forth to
   6 operate without needing to be given root privilege.

   8 THIS VERSION IS ALPHA AND PROVIDED FOR REVIEW.
